In order to make this the best possible event we can, we need the support of local businesses and organisations. You can support us in a number of ways:
- We are looking for a diverse range of organisations to bring something loud/colourful/fun/festive to the day.
- There won’t be a parade or march but businesses and organisations can get creative with banners, flags, window dressing. Just let us know as we are happy to help.
- You could create a special ‘pride product’ For example, if you are a café, you could do a special rainbow cake to mark and acknowledge the event. Anything goes! Come up with your own brilliant idea for the week running up to the event, to show the town you support pride.
- We would love to have you supporting us with a service. Is there something you could donate that would help us? We will need everything from volunteer stewards to flyer/poster printing to music amplification.
- Financial support: As we are a brand new, not-for-profit, community organisation, we are relying on funding applications, fundraising events and local support to make this hugely important event happen.
